Hi! My name is Elizabeth. My friends call me E. and you can too! I came to Mammoth Lakes in 2014 to enhance my quality of life, escape the traditional 9-5 routine, and discover a greater integration of work and play. I found the Eastern Sierra to be a magnificent place to live, grow, and have fun!

My yoga philosophy includes exploration of wild spaces, practicing gratitude, and intentional action to create the life of my dreams! I practice yoga with a heartfelt stoke and continued curiosity for the newly discovered. 😊

My personal practice began at a free recreation class in the early 2000s and, over time, has been the greatest opportunity to reflect on my thoughts, emotions, and breath to let go and remain present. Through continued education, my practice and guidance has expanded to include philosophy, mindfulness, and socio-emotional learning tools to maintain my mental health and emotional wellbeing.

YES Yoga Eastern Sierra was created to blend my love of activity and movement, stillness and reflection, and the expansive beauty of the Eastern Sierra. In this life I am a coach, trainer, master swimmer and expert water safety instructor, insatiable learner and adult athlete, as well as an event specialist seeking to gather community and celebrate on theme! You’ll likely see me around town engaging in community preparedness, special events, or walking all of our dogs with my husband.

All sessions led by 500hr Register Yoga Teacher and SEL Facilitator, E. Weeks.

Additional certifications include Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Wilderness First Responder (WFR) with CPR certification, SUP Instruction Level 1, and decades of experience in Water Safety Instruction, group coaching, and transformation leadership.
